The Challenge
CoinGeek TV wanted more than a simple interview area, they needed a fully functioning broadcast studio at the heart of the London Blockchain Conference. Over several busy days, a continuous stream of guests, industry experts and keynote speakers would be interviewed live, with content reaching a global audience across multiple digital platforms. The studio had to look professional, operate reliably and fit seamlessly into a bustling exhibition environment where noise, changing lighting conditions and tight schedules all presented challenges. Every interview needed to start on time, look consistent and maintain the high production standards viewers expect from a dedicated broadcast channel.
The Solution
We built a fully functioning broadcast studio that delivered the look and feel of a permanent TV set, right in the middle of the exhibition floor. Before the first guest arrived, every camera angle, lighting position and audio level had been carefully tested and rehearsed to make sure each interview looked and sounded consistent throughout the event.
Our production team managed the live vision mix, graphics, recording and streaming, while working closely with presenters to keep the schedule on track and the conversations flowing naturally.
To make sure everything ran smoothly, we incorporated:
- A multi-camera production setup, allowing us to switch seamlessly between wide shots, close-ups and guest reactions to create a more engaging viewing experience.
- Professional lighting and broadcast audio, carefully designed to overcome the challenges of a busy exhibition hall and deliver clear, consistent picture and sound quality.
- Redundant recording and streaming workflows, providing peace of mind that every interview was safely captured and ready for live broadcast or on-demand viewing.
The end result was a studio that looked great on screen, operated reliably throughout the conference and gave CoinGeek TV the flexibility to produce a continuous schedule of high-quality interviews without worrying about the technology behind the scenes.
The Results
Over the course of three days of live broadcasting, the WaveFX team helped CoinGeek TV produce more than 60 broadcast-quality interviews, creating over 40 hours of live and recorded content ready for streaming, editing and on-demand viewing. The broadcasts reached a global audience across multiple platforms, while individual interviews were repurposed into valuable social media clips that continued to generate engagement long after the conference had finished.
By combining reliable technology with an experienced production crew, CoinGeek TV could focus on interviewing guests and sharing industry insights while we took care of every technical detail behind the scenes. The result was a professional broadcast operation that not only enhanced the visitor experience at the conference but also created a lasting library of high-quality content, extending the value of the event well beyond the final day.
