Capturing Conversations That Shape Business
Some conferences are remembered for the keynote speaker. Others are remembered for the conversations they start.
The annual Business in the Community Leadership Summit, attended by HRH King Charles III, brought together business leaders to discuss how organisations can create a positive social impact, rebuild public trust and shape the future of responsible business. Our role was to capture every presentation, discussion and keynote, ensuring the message reached both the audience in the room and those watching afterwards.
Conference Video Production Challenge
This wasn’t simply another conference.
With senior business leaders, high-profile speakers and a royal guest, every element of the production had to be carefully planned. Timings were fixed, security was understandably tight and there was only one opportunity to capture each moment.
At the same time, the production needed to feel completely unobtrusive, allowing the audience to focus on the discussions rather than the cameras.
The Solution
Our crew provided multi-camera event coverage and live vision mixing throughout the three-hour summit, feeding content directly to the large screens around the venue while simultaneously recording the programme for post-event editing.
Following the event, the full conference was transformed into a series of shorter films, allowing Business in the Community to share keynote speeches, panel discussions and highlights across YouTube and social media.
The Results
Instead of becoming a one-day event, the Leadership Summit continued reaching audiences long after the delegates had gone home.
The edited films gave Business in the Community valuable content for ongoing communications, helping important discussions reach a much wider audience while extending the value of the event far beyond the conference itself.
What the Client Said
“We’ve worked with the WaveFX team on a number of high-profile events and they consistently deliver. They’re organised, professional and understand exactly what’s needed when filming conferences where every moment matters.” Events Team, Business in the Community
From the Crew
High-profile conferences are all about preparation. Once the audience arrives, everything should feel effortless. The best compliment we can receive is when delegates forget we’re even there, because that’s usually a sign the production is doing exactly what it should.
Conference Video Production Advice
Don’t let your conference finish when the last speaker leaves the stage. Break keynote presentations into shorter clips, share panel discussions individually and create highlight films for social media. You’ll reach a much larger audience and continue generating value from the event for months afterwards.
