Newcastle United and PUMA have launched the club’s new 2017/18 third kit as part of the sports brand’s global Step Out campaign.
The kit was officially worn by the players for the first time on Wednesday night webcast when Dwight Gayle, Matt Richie and Isaac Hayden appeared LIVE on Facebook as the sun set at 9:39pm over St. James’ Park.
As darkness fell, the players stepped out of the shadows to reveal the stunning new black third kit design featuring gold detailing, gold Fun88 and PUMA logos and adorned with this season’s iconic 125th anniversary crest.
Matchday host and Heart FM presenter, Justin Lockwood, hosted the live reveal on the club’s official Facebook page.
WaveFX were comissioned by Deece Creative to webcast the unveiling of the kit Live on the night as Justin gave an exclusive, access-all-areas tour of St. James’ Park and offered fans the chance to enter a prize draw for a signed shirt by guessing the exact time of sunset.
