Brüel & Kjær Opening the Factory Doors to the World
Not every customer can visit your factory.
For Brüel & Kjær, a global leader in sound and vibration measurement technology, that’s a challenge. Their manufacturing facilities are home to decades of engineering expertise, precision assembly and meticulous testing, but much of that work happens behind closed doors.
They wanted to give customers a genuine insight into how their products are designed, built and tested, without asking them to board a plane. The answer was a factory tour video that brought the production process to life.
The Manufacturing Video Production Challenge
Manufacturing is fascinating when you’re standing in the factory.
The challenge is capturing that same feeling on screen.
Every department had its own story to tell, from precision engineering and product assembly to quality control and final testing. The film needed to showcase the scale of the operation while explaining why every stage of the manufacturing process contributes to the performance and reliability of the finished products.
The Solution
Rather than producing a traditional corporate video, we treated the factory as though it were a guided tour.
Our cameras moved naturally through the facility, introducing viewers to the people, machinery and processes behind the products. Close-up detail shots revealed the craftsmanship, while wider cinematic sequences demonstrated the scale of the operation.
The factory tour video gave customers the opportunity to experience the manufacturing process without ever leaving their office, helping them better understand the expertise behind every Brüel & Kjær product.
The Results
The completed factory tour video became an important sales and marketing resource for teams around the world.
Whether used during customer presentations, exhibitions, distributor meetings or online, the film helped answer one of the most common questions prospective customers ask: “How are your products actually made?”
Instead of explaining the process with brochures and presentations, Brüel & Kjær could simply press play.
What the Client Said
“WaveFX captured exactly what makes our manufacturing process different. The film gives customers a genuine insight into our facilities and the people behind our products. It’s become a valuable resource for our global sales and marketing teams.” Marketing Team, Brüel & Kjær
From the Crew
Factories are brilliant places to film because every process has a rhythm. Machines, people and products are constantly moving, and once you understand that flow you can begin to tell a story that’s about much more than manufacturing. This project reminded us that even the most technical environments are full of interesting human stories.
Manufacturing Video Production Advice
If you’re investing in a factory tour video, don’t make it a catalogue of machines. Show the people, the attention to detail and the pride behind the process. Customers buy from businesses they trust, and nothing builds confidence like showing them exactly how your products are made.
