Prince Harry has been appointed a new role by the Queen making him Commonwealth Youth Ambassador. The prince, who marred in Windsor on May 19, plans to support the Queen – the head of the Commonwealth – by taking a lead in Commonwealth youth matters with his new bride Meghan Markle.
At a reception at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in central London, Prince Harry and Meghan met delegates of the youth forum who are encouraging young people to debate challenges facing their generation, and agree youth-led initiatives to influence decision-makers. On climate change, Prince Harry noted that it is “something my father has believed for years, yet society still struggles with.”
