The WaveFX webcast live team have just returned from a week in Cardiff filming and streaming the build up to the Anthony Joshua v Carlos Takam fight.

Anthony Joshua made the fourth defence of his world heavyweight titles against Carlos Takam at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, winning the fight in the 10th round.

Working with Deece Creative the pre-fight workout sponsored by William Hill was filmed and webcast live to 1000’s on Facebook from St David’s Hall in Cardiff. The following day WaveFX streamed the press conference from Cardiff’s national museum which also saw huge numbers tune in.

Adrian from WaveFX: “Facebook Live really is the best platform to see big audience figures with the bonus that they can react and comment in real-time so they really feel part of the webcast.

We used our LiveStream HD550 portable encoder and Teradek wireless camera unit to live mix multiple cameras, videos and presenters, giving the online viewer the highest production values without the high cost associated with live TV”

WaveFX also took time to record the events in 360 video via they’re new 8K VR camera, this great new technology puts the viewer in the director chair putting the online viewer in the very best seat in the house, creating an engaging and interactive experience with or without a VR headset.
