The Cambridge has turned around its St Ives branch into a “vibrant, contemporary “store that is ready to meet the financial needs of existing and new customers.

Throughout February this year Cambridge based video company WaveFX captured the refurbishment from the striping out of the old to the installation of the new look. Using a variety of time-lapse techniques, go-pro cameras and a hard hat the WaveFX camera team captured the transformation, dust and all.

Part of The Cambridge’s three-year investment programme, the refurbishment will provide visitors with access to the very best service, advice and guidance.

Andy Jukes from The Cambridge said: “The branch has been serving the residents of St Ives and the surrounding area for 26 years and over that time has become an integral part of the local community. I’m absolutely delighted that this location is to be the first to see such a significant investment and the team are already looking forward to inviting customers new and existing to the new store.”

Heading up the project is Customer Experience Manager Michael Stead, who added: “The new format for the store has been designed around bringing advice and guidance to the forefront of what is offered to customers. Financial Services is becoming increasingly complex and the experience visitors will receive will enable them to get information on a wide range of topics from mortgages and savings products, to how to use mobile devices to access their accounts.”
