This year’s International Symposium on ALS/MND took place in Orlando, USA. Cambridge based video production company WaveFX provided all the equipment and crew necessary to webcast the event around the world.

The Symposium is the largest medical and scientific conference on MND/ALS. It is the premier event in the MND research calendar, attracting over 800 delegates, representing the energy and dynamism of the global MND research community.

The “Ask the Experts” session allows people living with ALS/MND and their carers to attend an afternoon of presentations by ALS/MND experts and then participate in a question and answer session.

Jamie Huckle, Creative Director WaveFX said: “With our new portable streaming solution it’s now possible to pack and fly all our kit including cameras anywhere in the world. Making us an extremely cost effective, pro-active, zero hassle solution for streaming any event, any-time, anywhere.”

Care Services Director Cynthia Knoche commented: Thanks so much for your efforts to set-up and manage the live-streaming of our “Ask The Experts” panel discussion. The analytic s provided are valuable, as we strive for increased access to information, care and support for those living with ALS/MND.

Nicole Yarab, Senior Director Clinical Programs noted: It was an absolute pleasure to work with WaveFX this week in Orlando. All the team are knowledgeable and attentive professionals who provided a seamless live streaming experience for our event.

Jamie assisted us in preparation for and follow-up after the live-streamed event, and was readily available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend working with Jamie and his team at WaveFX.
