Meet Cambridge are the Cambridge venue experts offering a suite of bureau services and a single point of contact for an incredible portfolio of colleges, hotels and conference centre in and around the city.
WaveFX were commissioned to capture some thoughts and comments from Cambridge event professionals on what makes a great event.
Judith Sloane of Meet Cambridge commented: “We worked with Jamie on a project to produce a series of short videos to promote our service and our venues and he was fantastic. We had a rather challenging ask in terms of our limited budget but we shouldn’t have worried, Jamie met with us to discuss our initial brief and rightly challenged some of our ideas, helping us to prioritise exactly what we needed.
The filming took place at one of our events. Jamie and Peter worked through our final brief with minimal supervision and a clam, unhurried approach which really was very welcome. They put our interviewees at ease and asked all of the right questions.
Editing was done quickly and we agreed further edits via email so the whole project was very easy to manage. We are so pleased with the resulting footage, it surpassed our expectations and even better , it was delivered bang on budget!”
Also on the day Natalia Cohen, part of an all-female team to row across the Pacific Ocean and set two new world records, addressed event organisers at Jesus College’s new state-of-the-art West Court facility.
Peter, Videographer at WaveFX commented: “As a centrally located Cambridge video agency we pride ourselves on reacting quickly to client’s requests, being based in the city centre allows to have a more flexible cost effective approach to filming – plus we dont fight the traffic so if we need any extra kit its only a walk away”
