A quick look behind the scenes of a recent hybrid event we produced, filmed and streamed for Unibet.

Due to covid the 90 minute panel discussion was held online, filmed and streamed live from a purpose-built studio from Kindred’s Wimbledon headquarters.

Using zoom we bought together 4 industry experts from the horse racing community for lively debate, comment and racing predictions prior to the Cheltenham festival.

The zoom feed was vision mixed with pre-recorded videos and graphics into an interactive stream allowing online viewers to engage, comment and ask questions across multiple social media platforms.

We call it zoom plus plus. We take a zoom feed, cut out each presenter and place them on a customisable background (so no-one viewing would even know its zoom) We then vision mix the host, guest and gallery, so the webcast looks very much like a TV production.

Tom, webcast producer WaveFX commented “As audience based events finally see a brighter future and a return to live venues, we believe going forward there will always be an element of virtual presenters as people travel less for eco, health and economic reasons. As WaveFX expand we’re in a good place to both help include virtual presenters and stream the actual event.”

WaveFX have been in the broadcast and webcasting industry for over 15 years filming and streaming remote presenters and panelists into live, hybrid events and conferences.  We use professional tools, equipment and experience to manage remote contributors and presenters seamlessly into any event, allowing for real-time contributions and Q&A.

Unsure how or where to stream too?  Please do get in touch and we’d be happy to talk through all the options for your latest virtual, live or hybrid events (however crazy).
